About the Event

Please join us for a discussion and skillshare on how to bring the tools of immersive experience design into our sessions. These strategies can help us cultivate meaningful relationships and retain quality clients that make us feel valued for our work and creativity.

Immersive design is a burgeoning creative field. You may have visited or heard of the immersive theater production “Sleep No More,” the imaginative worlds of Meow Wolf, or perhaps you’ve seen others describe their work as “immersive” or call themselves “experience designers.” As larger productions and companies break into the common cultural discourse, small creators are making unique events for small groups of people, and many are focusing on one-on-one events.

This may come as no surprise—you are probably already an experience designer! Tantra, BDSM, role play, fantasy, intentional relating, and using costumes are all ways you may be already incorporating aspects of experience design in your sessions.

In this community discussion, we are going to talk about some of the aspects of immersive experience design, how we infuse our work with this art form, and sharing ideas of how to expand our practices to help grow our business.

Bring a pen, notebook and your curiosity, and we’ll see you there!

Your facilitators for this discussion are Amber Délice (@MeetAmberDelice) and Lacey Teas (@LaceyTeas)
